Preparations before installation
Inspect materials: Verify the quality assurance certificate of the waterstop, and check whether the thickness and hardness meet the design requirements.
Positioning and Marking: Mark the centerline of the waterstop according to the drawings, with an error tolerance of <5mm.
Base treatment: Remove oil stains and floating mortar from the concrete surface to ensure the bonding area is smooth and dry.
Fixed and connected
Mid buried fixation: fixed with steel reinforcement clamps, with a spacing of ≤ 40cm, to avoid twisting and deformation.
Joint processing
Hot melt welding: The overlap length must be ≥ 10cm, and the weld width must exceed 5cm.
Cold bonding: Polish the joint rough, apply special adhesive and press it tightly.
Corner reinforcement: Cut the corner into a 45 ° angle and strengthen the seal with special adhesive.
concrete pouring
Layered pouring: First pour the lower half of the waterstop, compact it by vibration, and then cover the upper half.
Avoid displacement: The distance between the vibrating rod and the waterstop should be ≥ 15cm to prevent displacement due to compression.
Temperature control: When the ambient temperature is below 5 ℃, heating and insulation measures should be taken.
finished product protection
Cover protection: The exposed parts should be covered with wooden boards or plastic film to avoid exposure to sunlight and mechanical damage.
Regular inspection: Conduct daily patrols during the maintenance period, and promptly repair any curled edges or cracks found.
